Pocasset School’s Fourth Graders visited the RI State House to see our government in action. Many thanks to Senator Walter Felag (Tiverton) who secured a grant for busing and who arranged this wonderful opportunity.
Our Elementary Jr. Tigers Pep Squad, consisting of 50 students from all 3 schools, can’t wait to show you our Jr. Tiger spirit and pride on Saturday at the Tiverton Celebrates Parade! Tiverton Public Schools SY 2023/24 Official Calendar!
Pre-registration is for students who are new to Tiverton Public Schools only. All registrations are completed utilizing the Online Registration Portal. Registration information may be submitted at your convenience from a computer or Chromebook at home, or via a kiosk located at our administration office Monday-Friday. The Online Registration Portal will not work on a cell phone. Please call 401-816-0466 to schedule access to the kiosk.
Kindergarten Registration: Every child who has attained or will have attained five (5) years of age on or before September 1 of any school year shall be eligible to attend kindergarten during all the days that the kindergartens are in session during the school year.

Tiverton Junior Tigers Pep Team
Come and join the Tiverton Junior Tigers Pep Team!!
We are comprised of Tiverton elementary students in grades 1-4. We will be marching on Saturday, May 27th in the Tiverton Celebrates Parade!! We will be learning dance/pom routines to some of your favorite Tiverton School Spirit songs!
Our instructors are Mrs. Julie Simmons (Pocasset Grade 1 Teacher and THS Alumni), Mrs. Amanda Rose (Pocasset Special Educator), Mrs. Melynda Antunes (Pocasset Special Educator), and Dr. Suzette Wordell (Pocasset Principal and THS Alumni).
There are only 4 required practices (if nice weather - outside at Pocasset Field, if raining inside

1. IF NEEDED - Pocasset Snow Day Schedule: If the Superintendent calls a Snow Day, this is the online instructional schedule we will follow if you have power:
Homeroom 9:00 – 9:10 (10 Minutes)

3. Pocasset School Improvement Team Meeting: At next Monday’s SIT Team Meeting, I will be doing a presentation about Safety at Pocasset. 4. CORE Afterschool Spring Session Registration is open!: See below for the 2 courses open at Pocasset:
Bringing Books to Life: $65. with Ashley Lessa
Each session, students will participate in a highly interactive story time! We will act out stories, ask questions, and play along the way! The books will be hand-picked for the season. After reading, the students will bring an element of the book to life through a craft or STEM activity! Together we might make snow, build a character’s home or design a puppet for a puppet show play! Come bring stories to life with Miss Ashley!
Creating with Collage: with Kelly Hochenberger $65
This class is designed to bring out the artist in students. Students will think, cut, glue and design masterpieces. There will be a variety of collage art projects. Some themes will involve animals and nature. Come join the fun with Miss Kelly.
