Tiverton Middle School sixth graders held their annual History Night this week. The students showcased their outstanding National History Day exhibits, documentaries, websites, and recorded performances. Students also created banners in art class based on this year's NHD theme, Rights and Responsibilities in History. The banners featured quotes made by historical figures from their research.

Ranger and Fort Barton Principals and students coming together to do the Pledge of Allegiance. Coming together for the greater good.

Dear Families, Staff Members,
Despite our best efforts, we are still awaiting a critical part needed to repair the heating system at Fort Barton.
The good news is that Fort Barton students have adapted remarkably well to their new surroundings. Over the past two days, teaching and learning have proceeded seamlessly, and it’s been business as usual. Much of the credit for this successful transition goes to the dedicated staff from all three elementary schools, who have come together to support one another and create a welcoming environment for everyone.
As a result, we will continue with our current arrangement:
Fort Barton kindergarten, first, and second-grade students attending Ranger
Fort Barton third and fourth-grade students attending Pocasset
While we recognize this arrangement is not ideal, it has been effective in maintaining a strong educational experience for our students. We remain fully committed to resolving the heating issue as quickly as possible and will keep you informed of any updates. In the meantime, please plan for this arrangement to remain in place for the rest of the week.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Warm regards,
Dr. Sanchioni
